The Sailor v5 is a leather knife sheath with a metal belt clip on the back. It clips onto your belt, waistband, or bag strap without threading — you can move it in seconds. Three sizes (M, L, XL), three leathers, four loop options for pen, AAA, or AA flashlight alongside your knife.

The leather (and why it’s named on the label)
- Badalassi Carlo (Olmo, Tabacco) — Italian vegetable-tanned full-grain. Firm, builds a deep patina.
- Koala (Black) — smooth, even, minimal marking.
All full-grain — the top layer of the hide, not corrected or bonded scraps.
Who it’s not for
If you want to thread the sheath permanently onto a belt, the Sailor v4 has belt cutouts instead. For pocket carry, look at the Sailor v3.

What’s the difference between the belt clip (v5) and belt cutouts (v4)?
The v5 clip snaps on and off your belt without threading — quick to attach and remove. The v4 cutouts thread your belt through loops, which is more secure but takes longer to put on and take off.

What’s the difference between the loop options?
No loop: knife sleeve only. Pen loop (D ~11mm). AAA loop (D ~15mm). AA pocket (D ~18mm).

STEP 1 — Measure YOUR knife
You only need 3 numbers:
- Length – handle length
- Width – widest part of the handle
- Thickness – thickest part of the handle
Measure in mm or inches (both work).
