What refills does the EP1L use?
Pilot G2 gel refills — 0.7mm black included. Accepts any standard Pilot G2-style refill, widely available at office supply stores and online. Do not use Parker G2-style refills in the EP1L — they fit the EP1 (compact) only.
Can I use Parker G2 refills in the EP1L?
No. The EP1L is designed for Pilot G2 gel refills. The EP1 (compact version) takes Parker G2-style refills. They are not interchangeable between models.
What does PVD coating mean?
Physical vapor deposition — a process that bonds a hard metallic coating to the stainless steel surface at the molecular level. More scratch-resistant than bare steel, more durable than paint or anodizing. It can show micro-wear over years of heavy pocket carry, but holds up well for daily use.
Is the EP1L heavy to write with?
It depends on material. Stainless steel runs around 37g — slightly heavier than a standard pen but well within comfortable range. Titanium is lighter. Most people find the weight satisfying, not tiring. If weight is a concern, go titanium.
Is there a warranty?
