The REFYNE EP1 is a bolt-action EDC pen precision-machined from solid metal. 115mm long, 10mm diameter. A flick of the thumb opens it; another closes it. No cap to lose, no twist mechanism, no plastic. Just a mechanism that works every time and feels satisfying doing it.
We crafted it in Titanium, Stainless Steel, Copper, and Brass with custom Torx T6 hardware. The bolt slides through a unique shaped channel — pleasantly responsive and fidget friendly. A removable deep carry clip gives you options. Compatible with most Parker G2-style refills.

FAQ
What refills does the EP1 use?
Parker G2-style refills. The Schmidt easyFLOW 9000 M is included. Most standard Parker-style refills (medium, fine, broad) work. If you want a gel option, the EP1L uses Pilot G2 gel refills instead.
What’s the difference between the EP1 and the EP1L?
The EP1 is 115mm — compact, pocket-optimized. The EP1L is 128mm — full-size grip for those who prefer a traditional pen length. They also use different refills: EP1 takes Parker G2-style, EP1L takes Pilot G2 gel. Same bolt action, same materials, same finishes.
Which material should I choose?
If you want the lightest pen: Titanium (24g). If you want weight and character: Copper (41g) or Brass (39g), both patina naturally. If you want a balance of durability and everyday practicality: Stainless Steel PVD (36g). PVD-coated versions are the most scratch-resistant.
Can the pocket clip be removed?
Yes. The deep carry clip is removable if you prefer a cleaner look or want to carry the pen differently.
Is the bolt action durable?
It’s precision-machined metal — not molded plastic. The mechanism is backed by Refyne’s lifetime warranty. If it ever fails due to craftsmanship or materials, they’ll make it right.
If you carry a pen daily, the Sailor v3 leather sleeve keeps a pen and knife organized in the same pocket slot.
