The Peso Pouch 12 is a folded leather pouch with 12 individual pockets — 3 rows of 4. When folded, the coins don't touch each other. The design keeps them separated so nothing scratches. Two sizes: 45mm pockets (also fit 40mm coins) or 50mm pockets (also fit 45mm coins) — pick the one that matches your collection.

The leather (and why it's named on the label)

  • Crazy Horse (Rusty, Pistachio) — waxed pull-up. Scratches rub out with your thumb, color shifts with carry.
  • Koala (Black, Cigar) — smooth, even, minimal marking.

All full-grain — the top layer of the hide, not corrected or bonded scraps.

Who it's not for

If you carry one or two coins daily, the Peso Pocket or Peso Pocket Duo are built for pocket carry and cost a lot less. This one is for anyone who's accumulated enough coins to need a proper home for all of them.

FAQ

Do the coins scratch each other?
No. The folded design keeps each coin in its own pocket, separated. Nothing touches when it's closed.

45mm or 50mm — which should I choose?
The 45mm size fits both 40mm and 45mm coins. The 50mm size fits both 45mm and 50mm coins. If most of your collection is 45mm with a few 50mm pieces, go 50mm. If your collection runs smaller — 40mm and 45mm — go with the 45mm size.

Can I mix coin sizes in one pouch?
Yes, within one size step. The 45mm pockets hold 40mm or 45mm coins. The 50mm pockets hold 45mm or 50mm coins. A 40mm coin won't sit right in a 50mm pocket — too much room, and it can shift.

Can thick coins fit?
Yes. Both sizes comfortably hold bulkier coins up to 4–5mm thick.
