The Peso Pocket v2 is the round version of the Peso Pocket — same slip principle, different shape. The round leather disc wraps the coin completely, sits flat without corners, and develops a patina over time. Available in 40mm, 45mm, and 50mm in Ponte Wax or Koala leather.

The basics

The leather (and why it's named on the label)
- Ponte Wax (Tan) — vegetable-tanned, smooth, natural color that patinas gradually.
- Koala (Black, Cognac) — smooth, even, minimal marking.
All full-grain — the top layer of the hide, not corrected or bonded scraps.
Who it's not for
If you want a shaped slip with an octagonal profile, the Peso Pocket v4 Plus runs in Koala leather. For something in stock now with the widest leather selection, the Peso Pocket v3 is the rectangular slip with nine options.

What's the difference between the v2 and the original Peso Pocket?
Same function — coin slides in, sits snug. The v2 is round, so no corners in your pocket and a distinctly different look. The original is rectangular.
What about silver coins?
The 40mm size fits a silver dollar perfectly. Worth knowing: leather will react with silver over long contact and develop patina. That's either a feature or a reason to be aware, depending on your coin.
