The leather: Koala by Conceria Puccini Attilio (Tuscany, Italy), color Novello — a fresh raspberry tone that sits somewhere between red and pink without committing to either. Stitched with a linen thread matched to the leather tone.
Koala is one of Puccini's oldest articles — full-grain French bovine shoulder, 100% vegetable-tanned with Quebracho and Chestnut extracts using an old tannery recipe. Smooth, firm, fatliquored with Sego for a supple hand. It burnishes beautifully and develops a deep warm patina over time. The kind of leather that rewards daily carry.
